Deskripsi :

Spesies ini memiliki ciri fisik memiliki tubuh yang gepeng memanjang dengan sisik besar dan memiliki titik titik hitam di sepanjang lateral tubuh. Sisik berwarna kuning-keperakan dan pada sisik batang ekor terdapat dot hitam besar. Sirip atas berwarna putih transparan sedangkan sirip ekor, anal, ventral dan pectoral berwarna merah transparan. Mulut dapat memanjang dan merekah. Pergerakan tubuh cukup lincah.

Spesies ini merupakan Karnivora yang memakan ikan, udang dan hewan kecil lainnya

Tingkah Laku:

Ikan ini lebih menyukai hidup di kolom air yang cukup keruh.
